AIDS Resource Center Ohio is pleased to announce that the ARC Ohio Medical Center and Pharmacy is now open! Our goal is to make comprehensive, team-based medical services available to all individuals living with HIV/AIDS within the State of Ohio, and includes a sliding-scale fee structure for those with limited ability to pay.
The ARC Ohio Medical Center and Pharmacy is conveniently located in the Short North area of Columbus and is directly on the bus line.
ARC Ohio Medical Center Details
ARC Ohio is dedicated to helping patients achieve the best health possible! A variety of friendly and confidential services are available at the Medical Center including:
HIV primary care using a team-based, coordinated approach to treatment
- Medical case management
- Mental health therapy
- Housing assistance
- Free HIV testing
Of course, we will continue to support our patients wherever they access medical care. Patients can receive any ARC Ohio services that best meet their needs regardless of where they receive other forms of treatment.
ARC Ohio Pharmacy Details
The ARC Ohio Pharmacy is now open to the public to conveniently serve your medication needs. There is no requirement to be enrolled in Medical Case Management or other ARC Ohio programming to access this service! The pharmacy offers high quality services including:
- Dispensing medications for all prescriptions (If enrolled in OHDAP, restrictions apply)
- Mailing medications directly to you or making them available for pick up at our office
- Assisting patients with insurance issues and payment
- Counseling for side effects and drug interactions
- Providing adherence counseling
- Reminding patients of refills
The proceeds gained from the operation of this pharmacy are reinvested into the organization’s statewide prevention, testing and care programs, helping to ensure that ARC Ohio will be able to meet the needs of the expanding patient population in the years ahead. By selecting this pharmacy, patients are supporting HIV/AIDS services in Ohio at no additional expense to them.
