NW Ohio Services

Northwest Ohio RegionFor clients infected and affected with HIV/AIDS in the Toledo and Northwest Ohio region, we offer case management services including but not limited to assistance with budgeting, nutrition, transportation, completion of ODAP and HEAP applications and information and referrals to agencies in the community who can help HIV infected clients and their families reach stabilization and self-sufficiency.

In addition, ARC Ohio is the local provider of Ryan White Title II CARE and Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) case management and emergency financial assistance for assistance with needs associated with being HIV infected.  Financial assistance includes help with short term rent, mortgage, utilities, medical care, medication, nutrition and transportation for those who qualify.

  1. verification of HIV status;
  2. proof of residency/address;
  3. monthly income verification; and
  4. any other pertinent information regarding your needs such as  medications, bills etc.
 

Office Location & Hours

The AIDS Resource Center Ohio Toledo and Northwest Ohio regional office is located at 3450 W. Central Avenue, in Suite 210.  Guests of ARC Ohio can park for free in the lot located adjacent to the building.

Client Support & Socialization

The Toledo and Northwest Ohio regional office provides several support and socialization groups aimed at decreasing client isolation and increasing individual knowledge and empowerment.

Changes to OHDAP

  • It was announced July 1, 2010 that HIV-infected individuals in Ohio and across the country will face a new challenge in regards to medication assistance.  It is ARC Ohio's hope and promise to make this time less intimidating for our clients and others who may need assistance.

Safeguard Vulnerable Populations

Stabilize Families


If you would like to make a donation to help Stabilize Families, click on the picture above or visit www.arcohio.org/giftoflife.  $250 will help ARC Ohio provide housing assistance to households where the cost of HIV care has pushed families to the brink of homelessness.
